With strength I push on, through the patterns I tear, Tasting the salvation, of the cool night air, As the nightmare recedes, and the shadows seep in, Emerging from the brightness, to see once again.
Relief comes at last, for which I have yearned, While my patterned prison, becomes a lesson learned, Taken with me, from the twisted maze, One I’ll always remember, on my worst of days.
For in this tessellated nightmare, I have found, Beneath these depths of despair, where I have been bound, With the infinite patterns, and the shadowless strife, That light needs the darkness, to guide us through life.
