ABSTRACT: MADONNA
The MADONNA is venerated in various regions of the world and has several representations, being associated with the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus in several of them. For us Brazilians, her most important face is that of the Patroness of Brazil - Nossa Senhora Aparecida, discovered in 1717 in the Paraíba River, in São Paulo.
This representation is exactly as I imagine her. MADONNA, with the baby Jesus on her lap, wearing a crown and necklace made of Lapis Lazuli.
In essence, MADONNA is the earth mother, the feminine principle, the symbol of wisdom and integration of opposites, perpetuating all the great goddesses of antiquity.
