I once believed that nature existed somewhere outside of me—something beautiful to visit, something I could leave behind when I returned home. But one day, I understood that I had never truly been separate from it. Its silence merged with my own, and its vulnerability awakened a tenderness within me that I did not know I possessed.
Since then, I have wanted to care for every small life still searching for its way. Not because I believe I can save the world alone, but because love begins with what is close enough to be seen, touched, and protected.
I have learned that when I offer my patience and care to a living being, it gives something back to me: the reminder that I, too, am still growing—and that I belong to this earth as deeply as the earth belongs to me.
