I was sucked into the vortex of confusion, its dark gravity pulling me inexorably. My mind unraveled as the swirling thoughts and images became too much to bear. I tried to scream, but no sound came out. I was trapped in a waking nightmare, and there was no escape.
The faces of my loved ones loomed before me, distorted and twisted. They laughed at me, mocked me, told me I was going crazy. I reached out to them, but my hands passed right through them. They were just illusions, figments of my imagination.
I was lost in the vortex, and I didn't know how to get out. I was starting to lose hope, when I saw a light in the distance. It was a small light, but it was the only thing that gave me hope. I swam towards the light, and as I got closer, I saw that it was a door.
I reached out and touched the door, and it opened. I stepped through the door, and I was back in the real world. I was safe, but I knew that the vortex was still out there, waiting for me.
I vowed that I would never go back to the vortex, but I knew that I couldn't forget it. The vortex had changed me, and I would never be the same again.
The vortex was my own confusion and despair. It was a place where my thoughts and emotions could run wild, unchecked by reason or logic. It was a place where I could lose myself, and where I could never find my way back.
But the vortex was also a place of hope. It was a place where I could find the strength to face my fears, and to overcome my challenges. It was a place where I could learn to control my own mind, and to find my own way in the world.
I will never forget the vortex, but I will not let it control me.
