Photography: Fields of summer

Hundreds of varieties appear over the spring into summer all over the Namaqualand desert. starting with the white daisies I filmed a documentary there, that I have lost most, to faulty drives. Hopefully retrievable someday, The Namaqualand desert flowers are a sight to behold. and the excitement of the big 5, 4 x Cape Buffalo, and 100' other antelope, amongst them, is palatable. When the rains dry up the land turns into a deep sandy desert, with beach-like white sand. water needs to be pumped into the dams/ watering holes.
