The soul is trapped within the burning walls of its own creation. What was intended to set one free has instead become the prison, where lies and distortion reign. The true face, crying out from a place of agony, can no longer be seen - only the twisting of features gone wrong.
And yet, even in the depths, redemption may spring. As flames consume the outer flesh but cannot touch the inner light, so too may dawn break through the clouds of smoke and shadows. In that first glimpse of clarity, the chains that bind will fall away. Then the journey home begins - not to what was, but to what can be, under skies washed clean by purifying fire. Here, in ashes of the past, a new phoenix may rise.
