Saint Francis, the man of God, who found his way in nature, and in the hearts of men his mission and his joy.

With bare feet and an open heart, he wandered through forests and cities, bringing the light of truth and the message of peace and fraternity.

To the poor and the marginalized, he offered his help and comfort, and in contemplation of nature he found the harmony and beauty of love.

With his poetry and his song he exalted the glory of God and creation, and with his life and his example he showed us the way of holiness and peace.
