A Goose is a large bird with webbed feet. Geese are classified as waterfowl, birds that live at least part of the time in a body of water. Geese can get further together than apart. As each goose flaps its wings, it creates lift for the birds that follow, making it easier for the whole flock to fly. They always fly in the shape of a ‘V’, as it allows at least 71 % greater flying range. When the goose in the lead gets tired, another goose takes over the position. They are very loyal as well , they mate for life and are protective of their partners and offspring.
Birds are the most important member of our ecosystem. They eat insects, they carry the seeds in their intestines and deposit them in new places and add nutrients to soil and to water with their production of guano, their dung.
