Eira-17 was once a 22-year-old woman in the megacity of Neo-Stockholm. In 2096, when the Shrink Protocol began, she became one of the government’s “voluntary” test subjects.

They promised her a better life, steady resources, and a reunion with her family. But at 1/20th scale, her home became a glass cage, the voices of full-sized humans turned into deafening roars, and her world shrank into an endless prison. Now she is one of millions of “micro-survivors” displayed in bio-museums for visitors to marvel at — part of a history she never chose.

Eira-17 still waits for someone to restore her to her real size, though deep down she knows that day will never come.
