Important artist notes: IRL allergy season for me has been somewhat close to my personal depiction of allergy hell. I can sneeze, but I can’t breathe. The eyes itch to where I’m smudge tooling my eyelids to the cheek bone. Endless tears while trying to do anything, especially art…like did I gaussian blur tool the whole piece or?..It’s been sinus infection pain nonstop to what feels like over two weeks now. YouTubing remedies for quick relief has me tapping the roof of my mouth with my tongue while pressing on the third eye, pulling at the bottom part of my ear while using the other hand to press up & against them eustachian tubes, checking for swollen lymph nodes while holding my nose + breath to near death just to feel grateful for the river of snot running down my face as my neck is cramping from staring up at the heavens..like what the yuck, seriously. Worst part of it all is that the weather has been gorgeous! The pups that bring the pollen inside & straight to my pores have been acting cuter than usual around me. Can’t ignore those precious little boogers ;) badumtss (I’ll be here all week lol). I’m already cleaned up & I find myself choosing to meditate in the shower to wash away sins I didn’t know I had, & whatever is sticking around causing all the allergies. It’s been so much that the experience has manifested into the genesis piece for this collection just in time for #200tezos say whaaaat. I knew it wasn’t all for naught-choo. I’ll see(sneeze) myself out. Dad puns are the canvases I paint on I swear haha.
