This video marks the end of "Manifesto", our first (but not our last!) collection as cryptoartists. Six artists gather to collectively think up new images, concocting our identity, contemplating ourselves in synchrony with the world.
In spanish —our mother tongue— the word manifiesto is used to describe a situation where something makes itself clear, undesguised, unable to be ignored or dismissed. It is also used to describe a public text that’s used to declare a program or intentions, usually by an artist or a public figure. Etymologically, it’s akin to the word manifestación (manifestation).
We are fascinated by the intersection of the simulation and the real. These were the testimonies of a summertime trip to the mountains that wasn’t as idyllic as it appeared to be. This collection marked the cornerstones of our operations. All works belong to everyone in the collective, there are no individuals.
To conclude our first appearance in web3 also means we’ve worked hard, made new friends, and, most importantly: new things are approaching.
