You finally arrive at GlitchWave Beach. Off in the distance, the vaporwave sunset begins dipping into the teal ocean, like a neon Oreo drunking into blue milk. The ocean breeze fills you with nostalgic joy, as if you’ve been here countless times before.
You suddenly realize how thirsty you are when you see a glowing neon beach bar sign. Beneath it, a red-haired bartender is serving margaritas to two girls. You decide to further investigate.
The bar pulses with 1990s synth nostalgia playing faintly from a glowing cassette jukebox. The whole structure looks like it was built from driftwood, glitter, and pink neon tubing pulled straight from a dream.
Behind the bar stands Vincent Van Gogh. Yes, that Van Gogh, only now he’s in a teal-and-pink Hawaiian shirt, still with his straw hat. His beard is dusted with gold flecks. He’s mixing something electric green into a slushed margarita glass that glows from within.
“Hope you’re thirsty,” he says with a wink. “These girls are three drinks ahead of you.”
You turn. Sitting at the edge of the glowing bar are two timeless icons shimmering in glitter and gold.
On the left is the Girl with the Pearl Earring, known here simply as Pearl. She’s in a sparkling champagne bikini top, her signature headscarf tied high like a poolside crown. Her entire body is glazed in iridescent beach-glitter, catching every last ray of the fading sun. She looks at you sideways, sips from her straw, and smirks.
“Well well well,” she says. “Another art admirer!”
Beside her, half-shadowed in the magenta neon, is Mona Lisa, lounging like royalty in a sleek black bikini, skin glinting gold like melted vinyl. Her infamous smile? Still there. Softer now. She lifts her margarita toward you in quiet greeting, her glitter-slicked curls blowing in the synth-breeze.
“Greetings! Are you an Artist, Collector, or both?” She asks in a soft and mysterious voice.
It’s now your move!
