Watercolors: Boy with Blue Eyes

This animated portrait is from my painting of an imaginary boy with blue eyes. The NFT begins with the painting, then I adapt and change the work and add to create the final animation.

The whole process adds a variety of interpretations of the original painting bring a fresh and perspective. An artist spends so many hours creating a painting, no viewer ever gets to see everything we do. By creating the animation I wanted to bring the painting alive. Not in a literal sense, in a more cerebral way.
