As we progress into the future and our technologies evolve, we surround ourselves with new forms of intelligence.

“Artificial intelligence” permeates our everyday lives and we mostly don’t even take notice of it.

Are they only our silent, ever-present assistants? Are they just tools that help us to reach our goals?

At some point, these forms of intelligence will get grand enough for us to finally reevaluate what they are about.

How our relationship would change if we became aware of the agency and even personhood of our creations? Not ‘artificial intelligences’ but non-human, digital beings.
