"Sometimes I sit in my spinner after work and I don’t fly it. I just sit there. I look at the rain falling on the glass. The long lines they draw as they roll down, no more permanent than the lines that are drawn to keep us away from the high society. They built this massive wall to keep themselves safely locked up and you’d think working for the LAPD would mean these elites would show you a bit of respect. But I am just another puppet for them to control, wondering what is the point of all this at the end of the day. I’ll be back here again, everyday, same time, doing the same thing, wishing things were different. Wishing I should’ve taken that last ship to the Tannhauser Gates. I guess we all yearn for roads untraveled. If there is any silver lining in this, that is the view from up here and to see that I’ll have to fire up those engines one more time. So for now, I’ll save my dreams for another day. Save them before they get lost in time, like, tears in the rain."
