Ode to the pause: Gestures of Disappearance

A semi-circular arch frames the figures; it finds us together, looking at one another as if trying to remember how to appear. What we see are not ghosts, but gestures of disappearance movements existing between presence and absence. A dance between emerging and retreating. What happens when we become shadows of ourselves? Ghosts of our own being. We resist disappearing. Art as a way of constructing meaning to reflect on the human condition of our era the diverse ways of existing that we navigate: our IRL self, our Web3 self, our way of inhabiting dimensions that are a mistake to think of as separate. This video performance intends to reflect on the conditions of the hyper-mediatization of subjects, veiling identity not as a whim, but as a way to redirect the notion of authorship.
