The first chapter of a sci fi AI film by Kika Nicolela & Thomas Israël inaugurates a new phase of the SF :: AI series.

The posthuman universe of the Kika Nicolela's series is now expanded in a fragmented short film, written and animated by Thomas Israël. Music, voice over, animation and images were created in collaboration with different Artificial Intelligences.

"Loss is a city without what you used to call humans. Those, are all gone: in cryogenic stasis, murdered or simply burned during the last transition. Extinguish we might say.

The core of Loss is an enormous post-industrial ruin. It could have been the engine of a megalopolis or a hyper-fabric conglomerate.

Now, Loss is drifting organically, smoking from the Eternal Factories that run relentlessly. Emitting toxins, heating the ground, lighting the sky, endlessly, burning away."
