Monochrome Klick: Final Stop

This is the Vantage Bridge located in eastern Washington. It's a beautiful view that marked how close I was to my final destination, and I would stop here every time I came through. On this particular instance, I stopped to smoke and walked around the viewing area with my camera. It was a random afternoon, random weekday, and there was one person sitting there with their head in their hands. I lined up my shot, grabbed a few photos, one of which featured this person, and then I left. I was having an exceptionally beautiful day during one of the most fun chapters of my life which felt like a stark contrast to the person sitting by themselves. Hindsight is 20/20 but looking back, it felt like a warning sign of things to come.
