Monochrome Klick: Quiet Contemplations

This was taken July of 2020 outside of Boulder, Colorado. I was taking a short hike uphill to capture some scenery, and I came upon a rocky outcropping not far off the trail. I wasn't expecting to see anyone else, and so I was surprised to see this small woman sitting near the edge by herself. Not wanting to scare or surprise her, I quietly took my camera out and took a few shots before turning back to the trail and making my way to the top. What I remember most about this moment was just how quiet it was. This is one of my most cherished photos I've ever taken.
