The active side of Matarraña: Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación — Monroyo (Matarraña)
Artistic interpretation of the etheric vision of the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación — Monroyo (Matarraña)
A sacred refuge standing on a hilltop just outside the ancient village of Monroyo, where legend whispers that pilgrims once gathered seeking healing, forgiveness, and divine protection. Built upon older foundations — some say of Templar or pre-Christian origin — the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación has long been a beacon of peace for travelers crossing the spiritual heart of Matarraña.
Miguel Giribets describes three dragon lines converging beneath this hermitage, subtle energetic currents that connects it with other sacred sites of the region. Those who meditate or pray here often speak of a profound stillness, as if time itself paused to listen. 🌬️✨
The gentle wind carries the scent of rosemary and old stone, and when the bells ring, their sound seems to travel across valleys and centuries — calling the soul home. Many who visit this place describe a deep sense of reconciliation, as though the Virgin of Consolation herself gathered their sorrows and returned them transformed into serenity and light. 🕊️
🕯️ Possessing and contemplating this image may awaken the same inner peace and healing resonance that emanates from the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación — a reminder that true consolation arises from connection with the sacred Earth.
