figurative painting: The Crucifixion

I created this painting to depict the suffering and pain that humans experience in their lives. "Crucifixion" reflects my vision of the tragic nature of human existence, where we often endure pain that is difficult to bear.

The painting portrays a man being crucified, but this scene is transposed into the modern world, where suffering can be no less painful and destructive. As an artist, I feel a responsibility to show my audience the reality of life, which is often hidden from our view.

This painting reminds me that pain and suffering are not the only realities of our lives, and that even in the midst of our greatest tragedy, there can be room for hope and expectation. I believe that our sufferings can give us the opportunity to become stronger, wiser, and more compassionate human beings. "Crucifixion" is my attempt to depict this eternal and extremely complex relationship between pain and hope.
