Shards of Blue #4571 "The Alien"

This series builds on the Foglie series [1] but renders polygons via probabilistic stippling [2]. The core generative algorithm is t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding (t-SNE) [3]. All pieces were created by the same algorithm changing only the random seed. The algorithm was run a few hundred times with different seeds and the top 16 results were selected to be part of the official series. Created in November 2021. Made in R using the {ggplot2} and {Rtsne} packages. PNG, 5280x5280.
