Pixel Open Editions: soaring pixels

In recent times, my air travel to various destinations has become a magical experience for me, each flight representing a new adventure and perspective. Me dancing on top of the plane reflects my celebration of being encouraged to explore new horizons.

Inspired by one of the earliest and most iconic animated GIFs, this pixelated reinterpretation pays homage to the simplicity and charm of early digital animations. The original GIF, featuring a basic airplane flying across the screen, was created shortly after the introduction of the GIF format in 1987, which revolutionized the way we share and experience digital imagery.
