ourdigitalhomestead - @ourdigitalhome1 commissioned me to make a portrait simply by using the visual data provided by her digital photograph to make a 1/1 abstract art work.
I'm interested in exploring the traditional idea of 'The Portrait’ in todays data driven society.
I make an artistic response to the information shared by the sitter which is completely individual and unique.
I’m asking if the finished ‘portrait’, in the light of the NFT Communities current obsession with pfp, needs to have a physical resemblance to the owner of the image at all.
What is being signified by the choice of pfp?
How realistic do we chose to make our profiles?
How accurately are we encouraged to perceive one another via screens?
Feel free to dm me for commissions and inquiries via twitter @LabelsonHumans,
I'm Michael and the next commission that I carry out is priced at 7 Tezos, then after that 10 etc...
