Jacaranda Tree

One of the most beautiful trees I have seen is all over Sydney, Australia: the Jacaranda tree. Although not native to Australia, it's planted all over Sydney. Once a year it turns whole suburbs into a purple carpet, as the flowers fill the trees and also drop on the ground creating a blanket of purple.
