ICONÆ: Observer Becomes Observed

The work poses a question: Are you the one seeing, or the one being seen? Does the eye reveal truth, or conceal it within infinite reflections? The being’s head is shaped like a blooming, carnivorous Demogorgon flower; a multi layered, sharp structure opening like a threatening blossom.At its center lies a crystalline lotus emerging from darkness, and within it a crystal eye open, observing, or perhaps being observed. It is unclear who is seeing whom. In each of its hands, it holds the Japanese symbol “愛” (ai) love, a profound concept: connection, awareness, and the only constant element in a fractured universe of perception.
