A Physical piece, acrylic and pencil on canvas + digital animating tools. "Two bodies caught at the point where they stop being separate — the line meant to describe one keeps sliding into the other. A thin wash mostly hides the entanglement; every so often the graphite beneath surfaces, the whole knot visible at once, before the wash closes back over it. It never finishes untying — that's not unfinished. That's the subject.

Honestly, this comes from something closer to a shared human geography than a private one — from what we hold in common rather than what belongs to any one life. Language eventually gives way here. The meanings we build with it, even the awareness we believe we have, stop holding. What's left, in the end, is only this — the present moment, and each other."
