I painted this piece as a tribute to a woman who hadn’t spoken in a long time but knew everything. Her head is held high, not out of pride, but from deep awareness. I wanted her silence to echo louder than any scream. I let calligraphy flow through her hair not just for beauty, but to tell her story. Every letter holds a part of her. The watercolor moves freely, without borders, just like her. She is the beginning of this collection. Not just a figure, but a voice one from within me, and from within many women who carve their own paths between tradition and being, through lines, shadows, and light.
