ART MARKET: i can still

i can still

i can still smell the scent of sunscreen on skin mixed with sweat

i can still hear the joyful shrieking of children at the sound of the ocean meeting the beach

i can still see the seagulls circling ready to steal my food

so i hold very still in the hope that summer won’t notice yet, that it’s autumn
