One of the strangest albums, Anything Box's Nineteen was a non-poptart idea. I would record this in one day, with what I had on hand, and put it away to release many years later. This was done not in the age of the internet, but the late 1980s.
The cassette tape had no cover or markings, and I almost lost it during one move. It wasn't until 2008 that it was unearthed and finally released to the world to be streamed. As such the album garnered its own very odd following.
The birds were the perfect choice for this album, and also for the ABOXAF shirt for the 2024 tour. So I wanted to give you something from the heart that could be minted by anyone anywhere.

Although I love the 1950s tin-man versions of robots, I have a deep suspicion that the present-time versions are truly not what they seem. But that's just me.
