I had this dark subconscious drawing sitting on the shelf... And on Christmas Eve, this idea to incorporate the wrapping tissue and ribbon hit me. The problem, as I saw it, was that although the world is sometimes dark, there are still pockets of hope to be had, places in our own hearts where changes can take place. And so I kept gluing things... Tissue turned into a tress. The ribbon is a little lake (perhaps), and a red/pink globe is the sole decoration... And then it began to snow/pixelate all over the land, and the tiny pixels melted on the faces of all who needed it. At least, that's how I saw it in my head...

Although I love the 1950s tin-man versions of robots, I have a deep suspicion that the 2023 versions are not truly our friends. But that's just me.
