Bonde das Collab

DEAD ASTRA 2222 is the genesis piece for the Bonde das Collab ongoing collection.

I been meaning to ask if @DEADATA_0000 wanted to Collab for a while now and I was thrilled when he said yes. The reason why I wanted to Collab with him, is that I fell in love with the simplicity & boldness of his artworks. Also, his process is fascinating:

‘I hand paint every image digitally using Photoshop. They start off more detailed and go through the process of adding and taking away until I'm left with the minimum of forms.’

He also says ‘My work is all about stripping away the layers of an image until only the bare bones of it are left.’

I love this so much because my desperation is to achieve the opposite with my work - To make sure everything is hidden behind layers and more layers. So everything 'sinks'.

DATA explained that ‘The question is, can a collection of abstract coloured shapes be erotic? Or frightening? When do they lose their meaning?’ And this reminded so much of the freedom in creating what is something I am always aspiring to.

For this piece I added the black ink. The colour scheme and design where made by @DEADATA_0000.
