Deception was a process—like being buried beneath layers of ideology. A slow, steady sinking into a swamp. We are powerless in every way. We watch as we are shackled, knowing that no salvation awaits us in the distance.
With our heads in boxes, thoughts drenched in blood, hands and feet bound to the earth, we search for the truth. We find nothing, and we know that truth has deceived us.
This demagoguery swallows us whole, one way or another. In the end, after touching death, perhaps we will understand what truth really is.
