Description
Farokhondeh Sadegh is a mountaineer, ice and snow climbing instructor, rock climber, and Iranian graphic designer. Along with Laleh Keshavarz, she is one of the first Iranian women and the first Muslim women in the world to successfully summit Mount Everest. She is one of my very dear friends. Through the ups and downs of her life, she has been a very patient person. The cat you see in the picture was very dear to her. Perhaps this affection, as well as the affection I had for her, inspired me to draw her portrait!
