X is an intersection. It's also the mathematical unknown. Or even a teepee. It can represent the exploration of cardinal boundaries, variability, or the basic stability of the teepee. Starting point, structure, two lines intersecting at a point, positioning in infinity, renunciation to non-being. Perhaps that's the meaning of 'X' here.
