Skllzrmy's Open Editions: The Weary Artist

Blazing embers fan the shattered rafters Straining members raise the fallen crafters

Sinking ashes dull the faded glimmer Sharpening lashes stir the lonely simmer

Hungry shatter rends the listless ceilings Restless scatter shakes his wearied feelings

Faintest flicker warms the torn-up morning Cruel snicker taunts the charred-out warning

Patient palette holds the sinner’s wonder Steadfast mallet guides the booming thunder

Finished master speaks through scarlet glory Cracking plaster marks the ending story
