Examination of the 1st animated GIF of the “Silent Dreams” collection. What it tells in historic context and who the hell are the daiodi.
Daiodi tribes were not always the “cursed” nation as they are known these days. They have several points in their evolution story, one of them being the widely discussed ‘Lakeside plague’ and its memento, the Muinarc hill. As written in the daiodi chronicles, a group of witch doctors had saved the dying tribes by forging a dark pact with the infernal entities from Below. The daiodi had survived, but at a great and fiery cost. In the eyes of most hoggers, they might have lost their souls, but their ‘infernecrotic’ connection to the spirits of the dead had made them a powerful and feared force. They are now the ‘curse-dealers’, horn collectors and gluttonous horrid barbarians with their ritualized society stratification and reverence for ghosts and spirits. The infernal connection is hard to define, and only the initiated know the true extent of this influence. The Muinarc hill is a topic of its own. This diabolic monument ties together the end of ‘Lakeside plague’ with the rise of an entirely new direction of the daiodi culture. It serves as the pilgrimage destination for the tribes in the present days, among other ceremonial purposes. Yet another grim event is taking place in the current era – also probably originating in this very valley. It’s now being investigated and each culture sees the ‘haunting’ (as it’s being called) as something else. ⸙
