Thoughts: Memory

I have a friend whom I met when I visited Turkey 7 years ago. He guided me through Hagia Sophia and intrigued me with the rich history surrounding the iconic building. We had great conversations after the tour, about the city, the people live in it, the coffee, even the cats!

Last week when I heard about the devastating earthquake, I immediately checked on him and relieved to hear that he’s okay. However, there are a lot of people are suffering from the disaster.

I hope this artwork could help to relief the burden even if it’s small. All my prayers goes to Turkey & Syria, and I solemnly hope that things will get better soon.
