Source: manipulated video clips from the films “Xanadu”, 1980; “Velvet Goldmine”, 1998
File: .JPEG / 53.8MB — 7998x4500
Tools: iMovie, Topaz Video AI, PhotoMosh Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop
Process: video clips are “found” on the net, edited into fragments, upscaled via AI software, manipulated through PhotoMosh Pro, layered, edited and manipulated in Final Cut Pro, fed into PhotoMosh Pro again for additional tweaking, then exported to GIF format. Still-images are selected from the GIF files, then layered, edited and manipulated in Adobe Photoshop to result in the final image.
