GRID SPACE: The Desert of the Screen: doubt in a simulated expanse

This is about how space has turned into nothing but doubt wrapped in perfect illusion. We don’t walk on ground anymore — we scroll through it. The desert stretches empty, but a massive blank screen stands there, glowing whiter than the sky at dusk, more solid than the mountains fading behind. It doesn’t show anything real. It just is — a frame holding nothing, yet it feels heavier than the sand, truer than our own steps.Reality slipped away unnoticed; now everything is its own flawless copy. Distance is delay. Touch is bandwidth. Being here means constantly wondering if “here” was ever more than a loading error. We breathe inside this empty glow, trying to feel something unscripted, to love without lag. And we keep going, somehow.
