David Hockney is a true master of art. Still painting and creating great new works at 86 years old. British born, loves LA, paints pools, people, landscapes. His colour play is sublime. In his early days, he hated painting feet and covered them with foreground ferns or whatever. He is a proponent of constant experimentation as well as technology and has reinvented himself many times. One of his early paintings sold for $90 million at Christies in 2018. He's a lively chap with a positive outlook on life who just loves to paint.
