LUXURIA: Prisoners of the Crown

The King smiles with a mouthful of coins as the children around him starve.

The law is simple and absolute: everything belongs to the Crown, Every coin, every house, even the names mothers give their children, even the hours between heartbeats.

Freedom is a word struck from the tongue, kept only in the king’s vault as a curiosity.
