ARTificially Intelligent: The Hellish Side Of Theatre by buck

Theatre. The collaboration of acting artists, working together in a form of live performance in front of a live audience, usually on stage. Seriously, what could go wrong!

What could go wrong? Prop failures, memory blanks on an actors lines, a single slip or trip, even just totally falling off of the stage...just to mention a few. You could be an up and coming star, and have that future career gone in an instant. Ridiculed for ever on a moment of imperfection.

There is no director shouting "CUT! NONONONO Lets do it again! And lets get it RIGHT this time!" There are no special effects experts making you look good. No re-do's or make overs.
