Part 4: The Geisha • • • However, I was no longer at that lonely cabin in the forest, but in a village. The streets were tightly packed and desolate. The town seemed empty. I wandered and wandered. I searched some houses and never found anyone. One day I was walking down the street and spotted someone in the distance. As I approach this figure, it becomes clearer. Standing in a doorway to an establishment was a demon woman with a face of bone. I could sense the malice oozing out of her and the long horns all but confirmed it. She seemed to be gesturing me inside. Naturally I turn around and walked the other way. I turn the corner and there she is again. I franticly tried to get away from her but everywhere I turned she was right there, standing in her doorway, waiting for me to come in. As I turn another corner, there she was again but this time I nearly bumped into her. As I stood there and looked into her eye sockets I saw nothing but an endless hole which seemed to suck the will out of me. Instead of turning around, I walked in.
