Special edition for "The Ruins" collectors.
This ruinous house is on my way to the bus stop. When I was a high school student, I took the bus to school everyday. At that time, I saw someone still living in the house. A few years later, it became a ruin.
Growing up in the countryside, I lived surrounded by many old empty houses. Most of their owners had moved before I was born, leaving behind houses gradually falling into ruin. This is a photography series to document the remnants of a prosperous countryside that I had never seen.
