When I saw the tiny green glitches, I remembered that My grandma used to tell me stories of a group of ladybugs when I was a kid. In here stories, where was only one ladybug with green dots instead of black ones. Even with the reduced 7bit aesthetics of the teletext format you can still almost count the dots on this bug.
This work is part of my ongoing research on the perception of movement. A time lapse recording of a blooming rose was converted into 7bit World Level 1 Teletext format with a custom script by @Tius. This reduction tests and highlights the viewers ability to interpret visual stimuli. Only by bringing a certain effort one is able to "view" a blooming process, which is only hinted at with a very restricted color palette, and which, in the first place, would never occur like this in human reality. Eventually, we are able to create a meaningful concept of a natural blooming process based on completely artificial input.
