SURREAL WORLDS: Relics of Everything Unlived

When you left, we didn’t just lose each other.
We lost what we only could have become together.

--

Some works are made.
Others arrive whole.
This one didn’t ask to be created.
It asked to be remembered
As what could have been, but never was.

A vision born from connection,
About a future undone by silence.

The one who left became air.
The one who stayed became stillness.
Grief, finally named.
Ache, finally honored.

The honesty of a wound.
