PierPressure: Fresh Pierspectives: Shadows of the Taj Mahal

Having spent the better part of 10 years shooting around the Manhattan Beach Pier, I get excited when I find something new appear.

With the sun rising to the east. I was flying my drone shooting the new swell filling in along the coast. The angle of the sunrise created a shadow I had never seen before. The 100-year-old Pier with the Roundhouse on top created a silhouette that reminded me of another iconic structure, The Taj Mahal.
