Lacrima: The Wounded Artist

"The Wounded Artist" is the second artwork of the "Lacrima" series. With a name inspired from the Latin word for tear, the "Lacrima" series covers the duality of life, the contrast between tears of pain and tears of joy, expressed through gloomy atmospheres of caliginous, surrealist scenes.

"I sit in the darkness, I paint through the pain, the wounds are my colors, the canvas my terrain."
