According to John 1:5, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it”, which in the context of this photograph means when the cold winter morning hampers visibility with a tinge of blue all around making everything stagnant and while the boats are stationary and the regular chores of the day have not commenced, the gentlemen offering prayers to the almighty hoping for a good beginning of the day gives assurance that gloominess will eventually go away. It gives hope that the brightness of the day is not far and will replace the dullness soon. This is just a natural juxtaposition between the blues and the warmth of nature that depicts the faith and hope that is needed to transcend mountains. This picture clicked at the ghats of Varanasi still gives me positive energy and assurance that things will be better very soon.
